What are the first steps I should take if I encounter an error with my e-book or app?
These steps are always good to take when you first encounter a problem. Very often they'll clear the issue up.

Power your device off completely, and leave it that way for about 30 seconds.

Turn your device back on.

Open the app and log in to your account.
If that doesn't work, try this next level.

Uninstall the app from your device.

Go to the app store on your device and re-install the app.
