Question and Answer

What will happen to my account in Cloud Library?

This has been updated to reflect a new closure date for Cloud Library.

Holds: After June 15, no activity in your Cloud Library account will be available, and you will not be able to access Cloud Library to read any books or see titles you have on hold. Before June 15, please log in to OverDrive or Libby, search for the titles you want to reserve, and place them on hold. We are keeping wait times extra short right now, so you shouldn’t have to wait too long to get your book.

Favorites: After June 15, no activity in your Cloud Library account will be available. If you have favorited or flagged books in Cloud Library, and you want to retain access to that information, please move those lists to another place before June 15. The same function exists in OverDrive, or you could try using a service like Goodreads, or make a list in your wccls.org patron account

Checkout History: After June 15, no activity in your Cloud Library account will be available. If you like to refer to your checkout history in Cloud Library, please move that list of titles to another place before June 15.

If you have turned on your reading history in your WCCLS patron account, any Cloud Library titles you checked out since turning on your reading history will appear in your WCCLS account, even once the Cloud Library service is turned off.

Alternatively, you could try using a service like Goodreads, or make a list in your wccls.org patron account
