Help! I'm having trouble streaming a video in Kanopy
There are a few steps you can take to troubleshoot issues with playback in Kanopy:
First of all, make sure the browser and operating system you are using are supported by Kanopy.
Next, does your device have an active internet connection? Kanopy videos are available for streaming through the internet only -- they cannot be downloaded to your computer.
If your video keeps buffering or won't play, test your internet speed -- 5 Mbps is required for an HD stream. Move closer to your router or connect directly to your modem to improve the speed. Clear your browser cache, and if that doesn't solve the problem, restart your device. If the video itself appears to be at fault, you can report the issue directly to Kanopy.
